It's a dark day for the ski world: Christophe 'Tof' Henry aged 38, along with Chile's Juan Señoret, lost their lives during a descent on the Puntiago volcano in Chile. According to authorities, the two skiers fell off a cliff, likely as a result of an avalanche.
Tof, the fastest skier in Chamonix, had already been travelling through Chile for several weeks to shoot a film, making a series of magnificent descents in the company of photographer Mathurin Vauthier, who was also at the scene of the accident. Tof was one of those who skied with all his soul and heart, inspiring an entire generation with his bold lines. Our thoughts are naturally with his family, his loved ones, as well as Mathurin.
