Yesterday, a 54 year old Dutch man took a fatal fall off a 15m cliff.
The man, a resident of Switzerland, and his son were skiing the Pas de Chèvre, an off-piste route from the top station of Les Grands Montets down to the northeast side of the Mer de Glace.
His son sustained a shoulder injury and was taken to the Chamonix hospital for observation.
