Evening Running Relay Race on Thursday 17th August

After the cancellation of the event on 10th July, the club of Chamonix Mont Blanc Marathon organizes again its Evening Running Relay Race on Thursday 17th August 2017.

Evening Running Relay Race in Chamonix: 6th edition

The race formula does not change: running relay race by teams of two: the runners perform 12 loops (6 loops per each) on a 725m route.

According to Le Dauphine, this running race is to take place downtown Chamonix, on a route which includes: curves, ascent, decent and hurdles.

To participate, the runners must have a medical certificate or an athletics license for the longest race.

Registrations on spot from 6 p.m.

The start of the race will be at 8 p.m at place du Triangle de l’Amitié (between the town hall, the church and the Tourism Office)

For children (8 - 15 years), another relay race will be organized at 7 p.m. The running relay race consits in performing 3 or 5 laps of 350m, according to the age.

At the end of the races, prior to the awards ceremony, there will be a rustic buffet on-site with home made desserts for all the participants. Rewards for all children!
