From Sun 27th of April 2014 the A&E Services at Chamonix hospital will be suspended until the 12th of July 2014. A seasonal closure is due to a lack of demand.
The A&E Services at Chamonix hospital provide first aid and primary care for minor 'walk-in' emergencies. In the case of serious emergencies and accidents, victims are transported as standard procedure, directly to Sallanches hospital (380, Rue de l'Hôpital,74703 Sallanches) by ambulance or helicopter.
The A&E Services at Chamonix hospital, will reopen at the beginning of the summer season, 12th of July 2014.
During this seasonal closure of Chamonix A&E, for emergencies, the Sallanches hospital is available 24/7.
