Last week, the Chamonix Hockey Elite has officially announced the arrival of the Czech player, Jiri Klimicek (25) in the Pioneers team.

Jiri is 25 years old, with 1.84m for 90 kg. He is a strong player that is reinforcing the team considerably for the new season in Chamonix 2018-2019. He is from Czech Republic (Ostrava, CZE).

According to Le Dauphine, from a very young age he trained on his homeland, later he joined the MHL (Major Junior Ice Hockey League in Russia) where he scored no less than 22 points.
He used to play under the colors of Gamyo Epinal team for two seasons between 2015 and 2017. That's when Jiri started to get recognized by the Saxoprint Magnus League.
Last year in Italy, he impressed by scoring 24 points including 4 goals in 40 games for the Fassa team. Now the experienced player decided to join the Pioneers.
He arrives this season at the foot of Mont Blanc as a real defensive player. Jiri, with his high level of experience undoubtedly, will be one of the centerpieces in Heikki Lime's team.
