Ice Hockey: Victory for the Chamois

Saturday, 20 Sept 2014, the Chamonix Chamois thrashed Grenoble's Brûleurs de Loups (Wolf Burners). A victory in a home match, final score 3-0. Well done, the Chamois.

The series of victories continues...the Chamois strike again, this time, after the Ducs have fallen, here came the time for the Wolf Burners, one of the Magnus League's top teams. Only a week after a victory in the overtime against the Ducs de Dijon, the Chamois win again, this time in a home match against the Magnus League's top team of the Wolf Burners.

The match began with 2 minutes of penalty for the Chamonix player, Matt Bissonnette. After almost quarter of hour, it is precisely Bissonnette who sends the puck to Tremblay, enabling him to score the first goal of the match. In response, the burners started the offensive, but without any success.

Kyle Hardy launches the puck, Laurent Gras intercepts it and adds another nail in the Wolve's coffin. As a perfect end for a great evening, Tremblay drops the puck for Bissonnette, who score another goal, giving the Chamois a significant advantage of three goals.

Here is the boxscore.
A great victory in store for the Chamois!

Next matches at Brest, against the Brest Albatros, followed on 4 Oct 2014, by a home match against the Epinal Dolphins.

Bravo, les Chamois!
