The 2nd Winter Military World Games started really well for France. Yesterday's events: rock climbing and ski mountaineering.
The ski mountaineering race, that took place at the Brevent ski area of Chamonix Mont-Blanc.
The course has 1300m vertical under difficult conditions due to fog.
Womens' Results: Laetitia Roux of France and Bronze Medal for Valentine Malavoi Fabre of the EMHM, Chamonix.
Mens' Results: Gold Medal for Alexis Sezennec of France. Alexis shares the Gold with the italian Matteo Eydallin, they finished on equal points. Tony Sbalbi and Yann Gachet of the EMHM of Chamonix came in 7th and 8th respectively.
Rock Climbing, four French qualified for the finals: Raphaëlle Korotchansky, Marion Poitevin, Fabien Dugit and Dimitri Munoz of the Chamonix EMHM.
