From Monday 15 Sept 2014 to Friday, 3 Oct 2014, the Mont Blanc Express railway line from Chamonix to Châtelard-Frontière (Swiss border) is closed.
A replacement bus service shall be in operation during this period and following the train timetable.
The Mont Blanc Express is partially closed for planned maintenance work from 15 Sept to 3 Oct 2014. A shuttle shall follow the train timetables from Châtelard-Frontière to Chamonix, passing thought Chamonix, Argentière and Châtelard. Montroc will not be omitted as a special small navette with a specific timetable shall assure the run from Montroc to Argentière.

Train tickets are valid in the bus, so tourists can make reservations normally, from the SNCF website or direcly from the train stations.
If you are staying in the Chamonix Valley, a journey on the Mont Blanc Express, is free with a Carte d'Hote. Ask your host for the "Guest Card". This card will give you access to the whole of the Chamonix Valley public transport network between Servoz and Vallorcine for free.
