Sunday 14th May, 2017, a refrigerated truck carrying meat jackknifed in the second turn of the access ramp to the Mont Blanc tunnel (RN205), in the commune of Chamonix Mont-Blanc.
According to Radio Mont Blanc, traffic was somewhat disrupted, but the driver of the truck was not injured.

According to Le Dauphine, the intervention teams took advantage of the closure of the tunnel due to maintenance, between 10pm and 6am, in order to not obstruct the traffic.
