NEW: easyBus creates line between Geneva Airport and Chamonix

November 27th 2014, easyBus moves into Europe with new Geneva to Chamonix shared airport transfers route

easyBus, the leading value for money airport shuttle bus operator, is pleased to announce the launch of a Geneva/Chamonix transfers service from December, with 15,000 introductory seats on sale at only 2 euros each.

The service, which will operate 32 times per day commencing Saturday 20th December 2014, will run between Geneva Airport (international arrivals) and Chamonix train station, with the first bus of the day leaving Chamonix train station at 04.15 and the last leaving Geneva Airport at 00.45. Online bookings can be made from 1st December at www.easyBus.co.uk.

The service will be based on easyBus’ traditional proposition: great value – normal fares start at only 5 euros  – convenience – the service leaves right outside the international arrivals terminal at Geneva Airport and the centrally located Chamonix train station– frequency – there are 32 departures every day – and speed – all services are non-stop and direct. The earlier you book the cheaper it is.

This is easyBus’ first Continental European service, operating in partnership with SARL Chamexpress. The Geneva to Chamonix route was selected because of the high volume of demand that exists between the two locations and lack of value-for-money alternatives. Consumers will now be able to transfer between Geneva Airport and Chamonix at a reasonable price.

Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, “easy” brand owner, commented: “For too long Alpine sports fans have found airport transfers expensive and difficult. We will provide a high quality service for them and their equipment, at a value-for-money price. I’m confident we can make a big impact on Chamonix’s year-round skiing, climbing and hiking holiday seasons.”

Andrew Martin, owner of SARL Chamexpress added “With over 10 years experience of providing low-cost airport transfers in the French Alps, the synergy between our two brands made this partnership a natural progression and continues our goal of delivering the best value airport transfers for our customers”

easyBus operates 7 other routes, all for travel to/from Central London, serving Gatwick, Stansted and Luton airports.  These include Stansted to/from City (Old Street) and Baker Street; Gatwick to/from Waterloo, Earls Court and London Victoria; and Luton to/from London Victoria and Liverpool Street
