The Chamonix Mont Blanc Guides (CMBG) agency has a new website for their English speaking clientele!
CMBG is located in the Chamonix valley, at the foot of Mont-Blanc and the company was created by Sarah Mckearney and by Pierre Schmidt in 2014.
Sarah Mckearney is a keen alpinist from Scotland who has been practicing mountaineering and ski touring for over 20 years.
Pierre Schmidt is a qualified High Mountain Guide in the Chamonix valley, who has overseen many trips and expeditions locally and abroad over the past 25 years.
The two founders combined their mountaineering skills and knowledge to create a website that is only in English.
The CMBG offers courses to train people in mountain safety awareness, technical climbing skills and to allow for acclimatization.
Mont-Blanc: 3 courses, depending on your fitness, knowledge and experience, you can decide which course is best for you.
The Mont-Blanc 6 day course is aimed at those with no mountaineering experience or limited mountaineering experience, to introduce the necessary safety awareness, technical skills and acclimatization.
The Mont-Blanc 4 day course is for those who have previous mountaineering experience (alpine grade F/PD - UIAA I/II) and who are in very good physical shape.
The Mont-Blanc 2 day course is designed for people with previous mountaineering experience (between grade F to PD - UIAA between grade I to II) or who have already attempted a Mont Blanc 6 or 4 day course but did not manage to summit.
The CMBG offers two all-inclusive alpine routes.
Climb the Matterhorn or traverse the Haute Route from Chamonix to Zermatt with CMBG!
All the alpine courses and routes are led by French and English speaking UIAGM qualified High Mountain Guides, who are living in Chamonix valley.
Whether you're a novice, have some experience in the mountains, or have already climbed on glaciers and high mountains, CMBG claims to give their clients the best possible service.
