Saturday, 11 October 2014 at 12:45 pm, from Sallanches to Egratz viaduct, the A.R.S.M.B (Association pour le Respect du Site du Mont Blanc) organize a protest against pollution.
The ARSMB's initiative is supported by several environmental associations, together they join their forces for a cleaner air and a healthier environment.
The pollution in the Alpine area was considerably reduced
Since 1991, in Chamonix Valley have been taken measures to reduce air pollution.
Therefore, Chamonix Valley was officially awarded with "The Flocon Vert" in 2013 and recognized as "The Alpine Town of the Year" for 2015.
Annual ARSMB protest on bikes
Hundred of bikes will cross the Egratz viaduct on Saturday, the 11th October 2014. This is not a race! The bike protest it's the perfect event for families.
The viaduct will be closed to normal traffic for 30 mins during the protest.
If you are nearby, forget about your car, get a bike and come to support the ARSMB.
