Alexis PINTURAULT (FRA) continues his superb day to secure first place overall after taking second place in the Downhill (Combined) at Chamonix Les Houches.
Dominik PARIS (ITA) crashed the French party with a spectacular second run earning him second place ahead of Thomas MERMILLOD BLONDIN and Victor MUFFAT-JEANDET
Chamonix's Blaise GIEZENDANNER thrilled his home crowd with the fastest downhill descent of the day in 1:28.54 earning him 10th place overall with a 29 place hike after the first Slalom run!
This performance has earned Blaise a climb of 16 places places in the AUDI FIS World Cup overall rankings!
19 Feb 2016 was the first time Blaise competed in the World Cup Combined event, a smart move to enhance his already sensational season, climbing in the world rankings from 150 in 2015 to 60!
