Due to bad weather and difficult working conditions at the top of the Aiguille du Midi, the Compagnie du Mont Blanc has announced the reopening of the Step into the Void, the 2 new lifts to the top of the Aiguille and the summit terrace on 26th June 2015.
Works started last year, when CMB decided to construct an extension to shelter the entrance. The extension will provide better comfort to our guests visiting the “Step into the Void”, located at the summit terrace of the Aiguille du Midi. Also, the access to the top platform where the amazing glass room is located will be radically improved.
Despite the delayed opening in late June, you still can visit the Aiguille du Midi, its spectacular views from the various other terraces and restaurants.
Many sites at the Aiguille du Midi will remain open for you!
