Tabé chairlift en panne!

Updated on Monday, December 21:
Tabé chairlift is back in service. Check out full lifts data here.

The 2015/16 opening of Les Grands Montets was a great success, with thousands of people taking advantage of the beautiful weather conditions. One minor chairlift lift did experience start of season technical problems.

Currently, the Tabé 4 person chair, which rises out of Plan Joran and was extended in 2014 to a total length of 755 metres, is out of service.

The break down occurred on Sunday, 6th December, at around 11am. 59 skiers were stuck on their seats of the chair lift. Quickly, the CMB decided to call PGHM Chamonix to assist with evacuating everyone from the Tabé. The whole process took two hours. No other lift was affected.

The Compagnie du Mont-Blanc has called the POMA technicians on site. Please check lifts status page, to see when the lift operates again.
