On Wednesday, the 17th of July 2019, the firefighters intervened in the Mont-Blanc tunnel.
67 people were evacuated from a double-decker bus.
During the evacuation, a girl was wounded.
Yesterday, in the early afternoon, a double-decker bus, which was travelling in the Italy-France direction, was stopped at the garage no. 18 because of a smoke release.
Consequently, the firefighters intervened in the Mont-Blanc tunnel to evacuate the 67 passengers of the stopped bus.
During the evacuation, a girl was wounded on the finger. She was then transported to the Chamonix hospital.
This incident caused the closure of the Mont-Blanc tunnel for an hour, causing an important stop on the national road 205.
