Ludovic Mazimann disappeared in the Mont-Blanc massif

The PGHM of Chamonix appeals to the help of the community to find Ludovic Mazimann. 

The 40-year-old man disappeared in the Mont-Blanc massif.

Ludovic Mazimann, who is from northeastern France, came to the Chamonix valley alone to spend his holiday.

He was last seen on Tuesday, the 16th of July, at the cabin of Rognes, at 2,768 m (9081 ft) above sea level, on the normal route of Mont-Blanc.

Around 7 pm on Sunday, the 21st of July, Ludovic's family alerted the PGHM of Chamonix in regards to Ludovic's disappearance.

On Monday around noon, Ludovic's vehicle was found. It seems that the man wanted to go to the top of Mont Blanc. However. all areas around the Rognes hut, in the middle mountains, are also studied, like the surroundings of the Bionnassay torrent, Les Houches, the Miage chalet

The Chamonix gendarmerie company is conducting the open investigation for the ominous disappearance while the PGHM of Chamonix is managing the searches in the mountains.

The PGHM urges people who have information to call 17 (the gendarmerie).

40 years, 1.82 meters, brown, short hair, 70kg, sporty look.

No sign given since Tuesday, July 16 last. Passed the Rognes hut this Tuesday. Hiked around the area, probably alone.
