On the night of Tuesday 5th to Wednesday 6th of November 2019, the earth shook in the Chamonix valley and the Swiss canton, Valais.
According to the National Network of Observation of the Seismicity (RéNaSS), the tremor occurred around 0:15, with a magnitude of 2.7 MLv.
Although the earthquake did no damage, witnesses say that felt the shaking all the way to Samoëns.
