Strong foehn wind today in Chamonix, mild, and quite cloudy, but some good skiing to be had. All of the Chamonix valley ski areas have some lifts open, and this is a good test for the new gondola at Flegere, which is actually open and running, while the old cable car would have been closed on a windy day like today.
