A lovely warm & sunny ski day in the Chamonix valley and mountains today.
We are enjoying a few spring-like sunny days in Chamonix, with cool temperatures in the morning, and warm afternoons, especially in the sun.
It snowed most of the day on Wednesday, and then Thursday was a sunny powder day with some light and cold fresh powder crystals on the ski hills. It got warm quite quickly, but we still have lots of snow above 1600m, and even snow in Le Tour village. Also, the nordic skiing is still looking great in the bottom of the Chamonix valley, both in Chamonix and Argentiere.
