Fire at the Mont-Blanc hotel, 32 people evacuated

On 3 March 2020, a fire broke out at the Mont-Blanc hotel, on the place du Triangle de l’Amitié, in the city centre of Chamonix.

The 32 people who were in the hotel at the time of the fire, including twenty employees, were evacuated. Fortunately, no casualties were reported.

The firefighters, dispatched on the spot, deployed the large scale, to reach the fifth floor where the fire took place.

At the time of the fire, 32 people, including twenty employees, were in the hotel and were installed at the hotel's meeting point, located in the bar area.

Fortunately, no one was injured in the fire.
