Chamonix: Twenty new electric vehicle charging stations in 2022

In June 2022, the municipality of Chamonix-Mont-Blanc will have 20 new electric vehicle charging stations.

The Town Hall of Chamonix, during its last meeting, decided to support the electric mobility a little more, which is currently booming in Chamonix's area.

The city council has approved the plan for the deployment of electrical terminals led by the SYANE (Syndicate of energies and digital development of Haute Savoie). The Syndicate plans in June 2022, to install, in connection with the eborn network, 20 new electric charging stations in various municipal car parks.

Eleven electric charging stations will be installed at the town entrance, in the Grépon car park, towards which the municipality seeks to direct motorists as a priority and thus avoid bottling the rest of the mountaineering capital during winter periods. overcrowding.

Nine electric charging stations will be installed in the Saint-Michel car park. They will thus be added to the ten electric charging stations, already existing on the territory of the municipality, located behind the town hall and in the car parks of Allobroges, Corzolet and Courmayeur.

This project has a total investment of 122.553 euros. The City of Chamonix contributes 36.777 euros, the rest being covered by SYANE.
