Welcome to the winter season 2014-15 with www.chamonix.net. It is December, and we are getting fired up for the ski season in Chamonix.
We had a bunch of early snow in the mountains in November, with a dusting in Chamonix town, but more recently it has been warm in the Western Alps, with some southerly foehn winds. The mountains look white high up, especially on the North facing slopes, but there are no skilifts open yet.
