The last few days have been great spring snow on the south facing slopes, especially at Brevent, Flegere, and Le Tour. Though it has been cold in the valley, a temperature inversion means it is quite mild in the mid mountain, especially in the sun, though not warm enough to melt the snow.
The snow starts off icy in the morning, and then softens up during the day, which is especially nice on the groomed runs in the sunshine. Remember the sunscreen, though!
Today, the cloud has come in, and it is snowing flurries around the valley, with tomorrow forecast to be a snow day! Bring it on!
