La Cremerie du Glacier d'Argentière

La Crémerie du Glacier d’Argentière

1926: Georges Ravanel cut ice from the glacier to sell to local hotels and restaurants. Then he built a cabin at the snout of the glacier. It became an infamous watering hole for thirsty hikers.

The Cremerie du Glacier has been renovated since and today offers a charming alternative to the conventional hotel accommodation in Chamonix.

The mountains and surrounding flowers inspired the name of the rooms in the Cremerie du Glacier. The gentian and the Aiguillette are ideal for families or group of friends from three or four people.

Open since 1926 and renovated ever since, La Cremerie du Glacier welcomes you in the heart of Chamonix Valley. You're invited to join us anytime especially for dinner from 19h30. Haute Savoie is the land of gastronomy, so make sure you come here on an empty stomach, because Chef will have you stuffed and happy!

Think about all those Savoye delights with regional specialties and family dishes!
