Chamonix, March 14th, 2008 17h05 At 15h34 an avalanche warning was given for the Brevent ski area. A wet sluff avalanche traversed the Sources piste catching one person. This person, an English woman, was immediated rescued by ski patrol. Suffering from a back injury, she was evacuated by CMBH helicopter to the Chamonix hospital. At 15h40 an avalanche warning was given for the Flegere ski area at the base of the Combe Lachenal. Rescue services intervened immediately. The avalanche warning was lifted at 16h41. No victims were involved.
