The accident happened on the Vallee Noire after the skiers had toured up the Hellbronner and traversed over for the descent. The victim fell 20m into a crevasse and received cranial injuries and was very bruised but otherwise quite lucky. She was taken by helicopter to the hospital in Sallanches and spent the following two nights there. This skier is a good friend of us here at Chamonix.net and we are wishing her a speedy recovery.
