Lost in Domes de Miage + Fire in Chalet + Aeroplane accident in Le Tour

Skiers missing since the May 2nd Fourth day of rescue to try to find the couple of skieurs that were missing next to Domes de Miage, since the 2nd of May. Eight members of the PGHM were there and the helicopter too. They surveilled all the possibilities and nothing. Yesterday evening the PGHM should decide if they continue the rescue or not. Fire in a Chamonix chalet, Les Favrands Yesterday around 13h, the fireman of Chamonix were called to stop a fire in a Chalet in the Les Favrands area (Chemins de Lupins). The chalet was a second home of Uk owners, nobody inside at this time of the year. So no victims to report. But the chalet is well burned and it will be impossible to live in it for the moment. The fire was stopped in 1 hour and 15 fireman were involved in this operation. The Gendermarie de Chamonix told that maybe the fire was accidental, seems it was a varnish brush left on the deck which combusted in the sun and set fire to the outside. Aeroplane accident in Le Tour The military plane that had an accident las wednesday in the Tour Glacier, was brought down to the Drop Zone of the PGHM by Pascal Brun, the Chamonix Mont Blanc Helicopter pilot. The plane will be analised by the expert of the French Military but he thinks that the reason of this accident was a human error when they were doing a "touch and go". This type of operation, that allows an aeroplane to land in a glacier, is ruled by the Chamonix City Hall, but we don't know the legality of this action. Thanks to Le Dauphiné and Our Secret Source
