It was a tragic day on this road that leads from the Chamonix Valley to Switzerland via Vallorcine. Yesterday, around 9 a.m., the Vallorcine firemen were called to the site of an accident. A motorcycle had collided head on with a bus. The Chamonix firemen were called for backup to this tragic scene. The victim was transferred by helicopter to Geneva but his injuries were too serious and he died that afternoon. Another motorcycle accident took place a few hours later. Around 13:30, another head on collision between a motorcycle and a car. Luckily enough, the rider’s injuries were only minor. Le Dauphine
