Yesterday, around 15h10, the operator of the chairlift of the Cornu, on the ski resort of Brevent saw a big avalanche cross the ski slope. He immediately alerted the emergency stations. The head chief of the Pisteurs, realizing the size of the avalanche, passed the alert to the PGHM in Chamonix. Fifteen members of the ski resort safety of the Compagnie du Mont-Blanc was on site to probe the compact mass. A dozen policemen from the PGHM rescuers came to give a hand.
