Water price will rise in Les Houches

On August 1st, the town of Les Houches will rise its prices on drinking water. From Sunday, this increase will be quite significant, the price will go from 0.79€ to 1.10€ per cubic meter. This is a request from the General Council of Haute Savoie. The municipality of Les Houches has followed the recommendations of the General Council of Haute Savoie, but in compensation, the Mairie lowered the cost of sanitation. With these measures, the water price in Les Houches (with the sanitation price going down) for an average consumption of 120 cubic meters goes down by 6%. The families budget is preserved.
