Finn Greenwood & Tom McCann, two English of 23 years old, were forced to spend the Wednesday night at 4000m, close to the Mont Blanc. The two climbers, who planned to climb the Mont Blanc, found themselves blocked by the bad weather, and they managed to alert the rescue team by sending a text message to a friend in Shrewsbury (Shropshire), who then alerted the Italian Rescue authorities. The bad weather didn't allow a quick rescue plan, the helicopter couldn't take off. The 2 climbers were found on Thursday morning close to the Aiguille Noire de Peuterey after spending one night in the snow. They were transported to hospital in Courmayeur, where Finn Greenwood was treated for a dislocated shoulder. Le Dauphiné
