We are delighted to report that Lisa Roberts (a Chamonix permanent resident) won the GOLD medal in her age group (40-44) and thus, the World Championship title in the Sprint Distance category! She finished 6th overall, was quicker than anyone above 35 (impressive, considering her age – 43) and also had the fastest bike time of the entire field of athletes (328 in total) over the 20km bike course. This, combined with her European Championship Title which she won in Athlone, Ireland and 1st place at the Mont Blanc Triathlon earlier this year, means an incredibly successful year’s racing for Lisa!
