While the Pole Medical Social of Chamonix is currently located in the Chamonix hospital, the General Council of Haute Savoie is renovating a building in the Rue du Lyret. This new building, located right in the center of Chamonix town, will be the new location of doctors, nurses and social workers. they will all work for the new institution: the Pole Medical Social. The building is nearing completed and the relocation is planned for late January and early February (2011). The cost of renovating the building is 2.5 million euros.
