Accident with a Chamonix local guide: Max Belleville

Around 11am this last Wednesday while the Vallee Blanche, Max Belleville, a local Chamonix Mountain Guide, was with his clients close to the Gros Rognon at 3400 meters, when a snow bridge gave way. Max Belleville, 30 years old & a member of the Compagnie des Guides de Chamonix, fell into a crevasse. He did not survive a fall of 20 meters. Radio Mont Blanc
