Chamonix: 10.000 euros to help Japan

Chamonix town has voted a grant of 10,000 euros to help the victims of Japan. At Friday night's city council, elected officials have chosen to help Japan, as the city of Fujiyoshida, twin city of Chamonix. This city had helped the Chamonix Valley during the disasters of 1999. It should be noticed that the links are strong with Japan. On the Chamonix valley, we estimate to fifty persons the number of Japanese who live year round in Chamonix. Radio Mont Blanc
