Dmitry Medvedev may visit... Chamonix

The Russian President is planning a trip to France after the G8 summit in Deauville, on the theme of mountain tourism. This May 28th or 29th, Dimitri Medvedev may come to Haute Savoie & pass through Annecy and Chamonix to discuss development of the mountains. The event would be organised with the group "France Neige International", but nothing is as yet confirmed. French President Nicolas Sarkozy could then take advantage of the visit and come to Haute Savoie himself at the same time, meeting with Dmitry Medvedev as well attending the traditional ceremony of homage to the French Resistance at the Plateau des Glières.
