A 70 year-old part-time Chamonix Guide died yesterday after a fall. He was working for the Compagnie des Guides de Chamonix and was with two customers in the Aiguilles Rouges on the "Clocheton de Plan Praz", near the Brévent. The accident happened around 16:00hrs after finishing the "Cocher-Cochon" route, during the steep descent of a grassy slope. The guide slipped & fell 300 metres. The Chamonix PGHM found him dead at the scene of the accident.
