Grande Jorasses: video from the accident rescue

Last Wednesday, November 9, the frozen bodies of the guide Olivier Sourzac and his client, Charlotte Demetz, were spotted by the French rescue helicopter. It was a tragic end for the two climbers, in distress since the 3rd of November, caught out by the weather while they were climbing the "Shroud", on the Grandes Jorasses. A rescue team had left on foot to try & help them, consiting of his brother, the guide Bruno Sourzac, and some other friends. They had to give up in the face of very bad weather on the Italian side of the Jorasses. David Autheman, cameraman and creator of the site TVmountain, attended and filmed this expedition.
