Friday 7th July 2017: the Chamonix-Morzine Hockey Club is convened by the National Committee for the Management Control (CNSCG) of the French Ice Hockey Federation (FFHG) for a possible pick up of the Pioneers in the Magnus League, for the upcoming season 2017-2018.
According to Radio Mont Blanc, the club of Dijon who evolved in the Magnus League has been rejected and will not make appeal. So now, there is a free place in the elite of the Tricolor Ice Hockey.
The decision of the committee members will be between Chamonix-Morzine relegated to D1, Anglet or Val Vanoise current teams of Division 1.
