Three mountaineers were injured by falling rocks

Tuesday 28 August 2018 in the morning, the PGHM had several interventions, one on the west side of Petites Jorasses.

According to Le Dauphine, three mountaineers were victims of falling rocks, but fortunately none was seriously injured.

Two of them were slightly injured and taken to the hospital center of Sallanches.

The third mountaineer was unscathed and he was taken to the DZ des Bois.

Later in the morning, the PGHM had an intervention towards the Passy Plaine-Joux area for a paraglider after his equipment became tangled in branches. Unharmed, he was transported to the station.

In the afternoon they rescued another paraglider to the Bellachat refuge. He was slightly injured and transported to the Hospital Center of Chamonix.
