As expected, the battle was fierce and heated at the 41st edition of the Marathon du Mont-Blanc.
Many professional runners took advantage of the absence of the legendary Kilian Jornet and gave their best to win the queen race - the Mont-Blanc Marathon.
Davide Magnini, the Italian alpine skier, won the prestigious competition in 3 hours 47'13.
Among women, Ruth Croft from New Zealand won again, in 04 hours 34'44.
