Chamonix: The Alpine Museum Reopens on 11 June 2020

Excellent news for Chamonix Valley residents, and not only!

The Alpine Museum in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc reopens on 11 June 2020.

After being closed because of the coronavirus COVID-19 confinement, the Alpine Museum in Chamonix resumes service.

The Alpine Museum will be open to individuals only, from 11 June 2020.

Please, note that groups are not allowed, and there are several health precautions to be followed, such as:

  • a limited number of visitors to 40 people in the museum;

  • washing your hands at the entrance is mandatory;

  • wearing a mask is mandatory from 11 years old;

  • one-way visit of the museum;

  • the shop is currently closed.

The Alpine Museum will be open from Thursday to Sunday, between 2 pm and 5.30 pm, starting 11 June.

The Alpine Museum announces increased opening hours, and many activities for the whole family, starting July 2020.
