Thursday 30 December 2021, the rescuers of the High Mountain Gendarmerie Platoon (PGHM) carried out four rescue operations using the Dragon 74 civil security helicopter.
The return of good weather at Chamonix sounds like a resumption of the activity for the gendarmes of Chamonix PGHM.
According to Le Dauphiné, at the end of the morning, the helicopter traveled to the Vallée Blanche to pick up a Swedish skier who had suffered a trauma to his knee. He was taken to the Chamonix emergency hospital. Then in the process, the EC 145 of the Civil Security took the direction of Saint-Nicolas-de-Véroce.
Following a collision with a barrier, a slightly injured 22-year-old skier had to be evacuated to Annecy hospital.
The day continued with the rescue of a 65-year-old British skier who suffered a heart attack in the Saint-Gervais sector. The victim was taken care by the Hospitals of Pays du Mont-Blanc in Sallanches.
Finally, while ski touring in Contamines-Montjoie, a 60-year-old woman injured her ankle and was evacuated to Sallanches hospital.
