The historical dates of 11, 12 and 13 July are now forgotten. Indeed, the calendar of the Climbing World Cup stage has been modified for 2022.
Traditionally, the meeting place for climbers is set from 11 to 13 July then the Capital of Mountaineering continues with the National Day festivities on 14 July.
But this year, the Climbing World Cup - Chamonix will take place on the second weekend of July, from Friday 8 July to Sunday 10 July 2022.
The Climbing World Cup in Chamonix
Chamonix-Mont-Blanc is one of the most important places in the world of climbing.
For 18 years, the Chamonix Sports Club has been organizing one of the finest “climbing” competitions with the support of its climbing section and its 50 volunteers, but also with its large audience of connoisseurs and enthusiasts present in Chamonix.
In 2022, Chamonix will host a new world cup climbing event where the best climbers on the planet come to compete at the foot of Mont-Blanc in speed and difficulty trials.
