On Wednesday 2 March 2022, the rescuers of the High Mountain Gendarmerie Platoon (PGHM) carried out seven rescue operations using the Choucas 74 civil security helicopter.
The school holidays are soon coming to an end, but the activity is not slowing down for the rescue gendarmes of the Chamonix High Mountain Gendarmerie Platoon (PGHM).
According to Le Dauphiné, seven rescues were carried out around the Mont-Blanc massif. A skier traumatized in the shoulder and femur after a collision on a slope with another skier, a ski tourer who fell during an abseil, a woman technically blocked at La Giettaz or an exhausted man at the Requin refuge will have particularly occupied the crew aboard the Choucas 74 helicopter.
