On Tuesday 10 May 2022 at the start of the afternoon, the Chamonix High Mountain Gendarmerie Peloton (PGHM) rescued a skier who had fallen in the Gervasutti corridor (3300 m), located on the east face of Mont Blanc du Tacul (4248 m). The Gervasutti Corridor on FATMAP
According to Le Dauphine, the 55-year-old man suffered from neck pain was transported by the Choucas 74 gendarmerie helicopter to Sallanches hospital.
Earlier in the morning, the gendarmes rescuers also intervened for a hiker with ankle injury in the near the buvette de Caillet.
A mountaineer suffering from a knee injury under the summit of the Aiguille Verte and another exhausted man evolving under Mont Blanc on the Grand Plateau were evacuated to the DZ des Bois.
