On 18, 19 and 21 October 2022, the MJC of Chamonix will offer shows and a concert as part of the original JazzContreBand festival.
A Franco-Swiss cultural event that welcomes the Swiss musicians on French stages and vice versa.
October 2022, a month of jazz, a month of smuggling!
The shows will be hosted at the inter-municipal music and dance school (EMDI) of Chamonix, in the auditorium.
Festival program
- Tuesday 18 October at 6 p.m. and Wednesday 19 October at 3:30 p.m. : Cine-concert for young audiences (from three years old), Smile by OCO. A show about emotions is illustrated by the films of Charlie Chaplin, juggling feelings between poetry and humor.
- Friday 21 October at 8.30 p.m. : Evening concert with the Swinging Ladies for older children. The singers of this trio will revive the vocal swing jazz of the 1930s and 1940s, bringing the jazz of the Andrews Sisters and Boswell Sisters up to date.
During the month of October, the JazzContreBand festival offers sixty-three evenings of concerts, jams, masterclasses and shows for young audiences.

The objective of this festival is to stimulate the circulation of artists and to support young talent in the Lake Geneva region. A master key allows access to reduced prices for all concerts for two years.
