The Chamonix swimming pool tiling, new last spring, has not survived the Chamonix winter. It's coming off tile by tile, so the tiling company has had to return to patch it up. They hope to ensure the opening of the 50m pool by mid-June, for the summer. But more broadly, other problems have been detected: the pool is not waterproof, and has numerous leaks. According to experts, major works will need to be planned for this autumn. After 1.2 million euros were injected into the outdoor pool restoration, the assessment is not yet over, but it appears that the new work will be paid for by insurance. Radio Mont Blanc
