The Choucas 74 helicopter of the High Mountain Gendarmerie Platoon (PGHM), intervened 8 times between this Monday 2 August and this Tuesday 3 August. Among the rescue interventions, there was on 2 August around 7:30 p.m., two climbers had their rope blocked at the level of the large rock. They were rescued unharmed.
This 3 August, on the ridge of the bumps, 100 meters from the top of Mont Blanc, a 30-year-old climber had an epileptic seizure. He was airlifted to Chamonix Hospital. Also, a 29-year-old man had an epileptic seizure at La Remuaz in Chamonix. He's fine.
Then around 11:30 a.m., a 26-year-old paraglider was rescued at Plaine Joux after falling from a tree. He is unscathed.
At around 3 p.m., a 61-year-old man fell a 10-meter on the cliff of the Duchère aux Contamines-Montjoie. He suffers from a head injury and a shoulder injury. He was airlifted to Hospital of Sallanches. Finally, a family of 5 people was rescued on 3 August at 4 p.m. They were technically stranded in the Platé Desert at Passy. They were airlifted to Plaine Joux.
